Any idea why this item is so expensive?

First time I've seen the wooden crate for these tin pucks.... anybody seen this before?

I think it is because it appeals to hockey and tobacco collectors alike. I’ll have one for sale in the upcoming classic auction.

Usually Worth around 300$ but that one was in exceptionnal condition and advertised all over the place before and during the auction.

And yes, as Howie said, it attracts both hockey and Tobacco collectors and it increases the demand and price.

I think the value piece is the wooden crate in the second link. It's the first one that I ever seen. It completes the tin can.

Wow that crate is a gem and has to be much rarer than the can

And it can be used as a home / man cave decoration item.
