  • 1966 Topps Test Orr PSA 9

Looks like the card has been consigned to Lelands and auction will begin on the 4th. Any guesses on this one. We just had some PSA 8's of the regular Topps Orr go for almost $40K, but this is a POP 1 and the Test version. I have a feeling this will go for $200K+.

That will be interesting to watch.

Couple 6 figure Orr’s listed recently:

Not that it isn’t a sought after card already, but I think the Test would be more valuable if it didn’t have that white stripe.

The white stripe has nothing to do with the card selling for less. It's a sign of authenticity and they all have it.It's just where it was on the sheet when it was cut.

I know all the Orrs have the white stripe. I’m saying that it makes the card less attractive, at least to me.

I guess were all used to the card having it. Still wondering how many were actually printed.

I guess you could always trim the white stripe off.

Hmmm....how much would a PSA "Authentic" Orr white stripe go for? ;-)

The white stripe is normal for this issue on cards that were on the edge of the sheet. The Orr was on the right edge so the white stripe is always present on a well centered example.

I like the white stripe on the side. It makes it look more like a test issue.

The centering on this PSA 9 is just insane. I would say 90 percent of these cards are either OC or MC.

I think that will get you the white stripe.
