  • 1962 Topps Bucks Question

Anyone have a theory about the unfolded Topps Bucks that come up once in a blue moon? They had to be folded to be fit into the packs. Were these unused? Sheet cut? Proofs? Thoughts?

PSA contacted me regarding these unfolded Bucks. I stated that they Always came folded, as there was no product released that would render these without bends. I mentioned that there are some uncut sheets out there. So the above shows the decision that they made.

Likely sheet cut as you show but sometimes salesman and convention samples (giveaways) show up, often heavily weighted toward just a couple of subjects. These can be unused (or unfolded in this case) and look like new. You see it with the old Tatoo issues, where it's obvious the tatoo was never used as a wrapper.
