    1974-75 OPC "Modeled back" cards

Anyone have any experience with grading 74-75 o-pee-chee with PSA. I am specifically interested in how they would grade the cards with what I will call "modeled backs". It appears cards later in the set have an abundance of them. The stock is also more fragile and/or thinner. Would these cards grade lesser because of this back. I am assuming "yes" but maybe people have some first hand knowledge. Thanks in advance. Rob

I am not an English major but I believe the term you are trying to use is MOTTLED

Mottled is a pattern of irregular marks, spots, streaks, blotches or patches of different shades or colours.

Yes it is but not to the extent of some I have or have seen. Thanks for the heads up!

Check out the PSA 9 Orr that PWCC has on ebay. Hard to tell but is that one modeled?

I would assume you have seen these cards come back a 9? I have been poking around past sales and really have not come across any.

A 9 is possible, but a 10 is out of the question.

#341 Rolfe is what I am talking about as opposed to the Hodge.
