Hey bossef, didn't realize you were the winning bidder on my Lalonde. I really enjoyed that card, and am happy to see it went to another member of this site. Cheers.

Without attempting to do any research, I always enjoy casually seeing when a regular season begins and ends over the years. November to mid-March. One can only imagine.

Got the last guy I needed--the elusive Cliff Ryan on the right--to complete all 10 hockey cards in the 120-card 1954-55 A&BC Chewing Gum "All Sport" Series out of the UK.

An Amazing Vezina 1925 Type 1b Photo It is among the most famous images of Vezina ever taken and it was used to make is V130 Maple Crispette Hockey Card!

Definition of Type 1 photograph :
This is an original photograph produced from the original negative within approximately five years of the photographer taking the photo.

b: Will be a qualifier for images that are NOT from the original negative but will follow the same rules for age as the "Vintage 1" as listed above. So a 1925 Vezina photo in a Canadiens uniform that was editorially enhanced and then re-photographed and developed IN 1925 would be a "Vintage 1(b)" indicating it is original to 1925, but done from a copy negative.

Funny about the number of kids written on back of the photo since he only had a total of 2.

correct:------ Vézina married Marie-Adélaïde-Stella Morin on June 3, 1908, in Chicoutimi. After Vézina's death, it was reported that he fathered 22 children. This rumour was started when the Canadiens' manager, Léo Dandurand, told reporters that Vézina "speaks no English and has twenty-two children, including three sets of triplets, and they were all born in the space of nine years." In actuality the Vézinas only had two children and Georges spoke broken English. In 1912 they had their first child, a son named Jean-Jules. A second son was born the night of the Montreal Canadiens' first Stanley Cup win in 1916. To honour the event, Georges named the child Marcel Stanley.
