  • NOVEMBER & EXPO PICK UPS

No one has started a November Pick up thread---let's combine it with Expo pick ups and keep the pick ups separate from discussion threads...here we go
Found this real picture postcard from Mitchell ONT with WG Morenz store seen. (Howie's father)

I picked this stunning piece up from the PSA booth. A couple of light scratches will prevent it from getting a 9 MINT though. Anyways, the guys there were really cool and I might give them some more stuff tomorrow.

Thanks to the guys who always make Expo so fun, like Doug L, Jim F, Bobby B, Larry K, Dave M, Scott C., Brian F, Bill F, Sammy K, Wes S, a few Michels, and many others who I'm not thinking of off the top of my head at the moment. Expo is such fun, and it's only partly about the cards and memorabilia. But here's what I picked up at Expo: Click image for larger version

Love that Distillers Corp Hockey Stick. Would kill to find a Babe Siebert if anyone knows of one.

Only two vintage pickups for me at Expo. The C57 Fournier puts me at 24% of the set. The Barilko is the card I consider to be his rookie card or his best card so I am thrilled to have acquired it!

For me and my collection the only cards bigger than standard size that I consider to be RC's are the Topps Tall Boys (Crozier, Lew, Namath). Anything else isn't a "card" to me. But that's just me
