This PSA 4 is the highest grade that exists in the PSA registry. However, PSA incorrectly labeled this card as the exact years were not know until Bobby guided and instructed PSA on the correct year --1925-26

McAllister wrote at least three other highly collectible sports books: Hockey Stars today and yesterday, More Hockey Stories from the Canadian sports album, and Football Stars today and yesterday. He was a freelance writer and also did some radio sports for the CBC.

He was a neat guy. Ran a bowling alley in downtown Winnipeg. Was always there. Treated us gawking kids really well and signed with a smile and a story.

1989 Swedish Semic World Championship Hasek. One of my all time favourite players, but I never bothered with his regular 1991 rookie cards because they're all so brutally over produced. This Swedish pre-rookie fits the bill.

Here's a Charlie Conacher Awards Dinner Program from June 5, 1980. Cover includes an early career signature of Wayne Gretzky, who was honoured that evening as the winner of the Conacher award. Gordie Howe and Bob Gainey signed the inside back cover (don't know who the third signature belongs to).

A Billy Boucher Anonymous Card from 1925-26 mislabelled by PSA. Can now be corrected after Bobby set them straight on the correct year for these rare birds
