  • Small crack in PSA case?

There's a small crack in the back of a psa case, does this matter to anyone? Does not effect the card nor evidence of tampering...

Shouldn't make a difference in terms of sale value. Of course, you (or the buyer) can get it reslabbed for $7 + shipping.

I think it depends on the value of the card. Some people might be bothered by a crack if it is an expensive card. Personally, if it were a rookie card of someone I really liked or a low pop card, I would get it re-slabbed..

If I had something cheap like say a Mark Recchi Rookie, they are so available that there is no reason to buy one that is a defective case. If it is super expensive like say a Bobby Orr Rookie, I wouldn't want to sell that card in an older PSA slab, let alone one with a small crack. There's a chance a crack on any PSA graded card is going to turn off a buyer or two, if the card sells for more than $50 I'd get it reslabbed.
